Repairing cracks in water features
George Trolley says: “I have used your product on small garden fountain, the basin developed small cracks, I painted the base and it worked very well sealing all cracks and giving the fountain base a nice rubber coating.”
Carl Seeger says: “Following the very harsh winter we just experienced, our garden water feature – a large and very expensive Grecian terracotta pot, suffered a hairline crack. I didn’t drain it over the winter. Haven’t needed to for the last 4-5 years! After a couple of spray coatings of Plasti Dip. Leak fixed!”
For garden waterfalls
Philip Shepheard says: “I used the product to repair a waterfall in my garden. Several cracks had appeared over the years and I had made a temporary repair using a rubber pond liner which did not look very nice. After a bit of repair work with cement, I then applied two coats of Plasti Dip and it appears to have done the trick”
Ken Ames says: “Plasti Dip is super stuff !! Sealed my waterfall perfect!!!!”
Fixing a leaking fishpond
JOHN UPTON says: “The latest 1L can purchased (standard Plasti Dip in clear) was to seal a leak around the top edge of a 3.5M dia Fish pond (concrete lined). The leak was about 50mm from the top edge, and extended for about 500/600mm. Just lowered the water level – let it dry out well – and 2 coats of Plastidip later the leak was sealed – can’t be bad can it!”
Allan Howell says: “I used Plastidip (Flex Blue) on a pond liner that is over 20 years old. This is a restoration project including decking as can be seen on image. This product is absolutely perfect in the way that it bonds and covers. The 5 litre can was just about right, and as can be seen, looks better than new as was originally in black neoprene. The blue will work very well with the pond lighting I have planned for the project. Absolutely first class product and will definitely be a return customer.”
For waterproofing
Colin Dean says: “Brilliant stuff, wanted it to coat a small sheet of sand stone for my pond. Coated twice and the water repellent looks good and works perfect.”
Jo says: “I coated the inside of a glazed China garden planter which I will use as a water feature on my patio.”
