If you are the owner of a hot tub or swimming pool you’ll know that as well as being a lot of fun they also require quite a bit of maintenance to keep them at their best. Many of our customers have had great success using Plasti Dip in a range of applications including repairing hot tub cushions, coating drain covers and marking out swimming pool steps and in this post we share some of their positive feedback and tips….
Repairing hot tub pillows
Peter Bailey says: “I used the product to refurbish hot-tub head cushion that had been ravaged by chlorine and other chemicals. Seems to have worked well and looks good”
Trev says: “My hot tub pillows had started to break down due to the chlorine in the water. I primed them and then gave three coats of Plasti Dip. They look brand new and up till now the pillows are looking good. Brilliant product why haven’t I seen this before?”
Frank bullock says: “Plastidip for rubber used on hot tub headrests and fittings just the job look like new”
Helen says: “I used Plasti Dip grey spray to spray my hot tub headrests that had become discoloured – worked perfectly, look like brand new headrests now”
Steve Cowling says: “I applied this to my headrests in my hot tub to refresh their appearance after 15 yrs in use. I need a flexible waterproof paint to coat over the flexible rubber pads It worked brilliantly. A better cost option than replacing them”
James Parker says: “Used Plasti Dip on our Hot tub pillows, it worked a treat. Much better than paying £199 to replace them”
Jacuzzi repairs
Dave says: “Used Plasti Dip on grab handles and foot rest of jacuzzi. Came up like new saving £200 to replace.”
Coating drain covers
P J Hiles says: “Very good product, I brush painted it onto a powder-coated steel channel that was showing signs of rusting. The channel as shown in the picture surrounded the top of a spa. Only time will tell if this product will stand the continual running of chlorinated water at 40 degrees, I have great hope for it.”
Painting swimming pools
Steve says: “Excellent stuff. Covered the outer PVC sides of an out of ground Intex swimming pool in very dark green for a solar effect. Working well.”
Valentine Secker says: “painted the roman end of my pool on fibreglass – first class.”
Geoff Yates says: “I used the blue Plasti Dip to delineate the edge of the steps in the swimming pool. I’m dead chuffed with the result.”
