The Plasti Dip transformation of a motorbike recently caught our eye on Instagram, so we decided to find out a little more by asking its owner, Ruggero Taschini (@ruggero_taschini) a little bit about the project.
How long have you had your motorbike?
Just three months but I wanted my own colour since the first day.
What look were you trying to achieve?
The overall plan was to give the impression of a military bike, usually, the army uses dirty road ones so I thought that could have been perfect for mine.
Have you used Plasti Dip before, if so what on?
First time user and first time dismantling the tank on a bike as well, so quite pleased by the final result.
Have you got any other Plasti Dip projects lined up?
Sure next will be a desert look on the same bike then I would like to try Plasti Dip with the airbrush to do some cool design on helmets, cars or bikes and see how it goes. Due its peelability might be challenging but I am so looking forward to it!
