What do you do if you have taken on a large project which requires all your expensive black sound equipment to be white?
This was exactly the dilemma that faced THE Technology a large lighting and audio visual company based in the Middle East who provide rigs for live events and TV shows. They were working on a large project in Dubai and it required a change of their equipment colour.
Aside from the fact that specialist equipment cannot be bought in custom colours at the drop of a hat, they also wanted to be able to revert the equipment to its original colour after the event. So a temporary coating was required.
Applying Plasti Dip to surfaces without a primer provides a total surface colour transformation that is robust and protective, but yet can be easily peeled off without leaving any residue or damaging the surface beneath when it is no longer required.
We arranged to have a large quantity of Plasti Dip couriered to the Middle East so that THE Technology were able to spray their units in time for the event. Then after the show it was as simple as making a small scratch or nick in the surface and peeling off the coating as you can see below.
