Anyone with school age children will know that fancy dress days come round with alarming frequency and often the trickiest part of the costume can be what they wear on their feet! After all you don’t want to buy a new pair of shoes especially for the purpose only to have them grow out of them before they can be worn for another fancy dress event!
Alison in our office faced just this conundrum recently, but the answer was close at hand. Seeking an appropriate pair of footwear for her son’s pirate costume she decided to spray his Star Wars wellies with black Plasti Dip.
Unlike using spray paint, Plasti Dip can be easily removed after the pirate boots have done their job and the boots can go back to being Star Wars wellies, without the Plasti Dip damaging or marking the original surface.
